Global Miner
Enterprise wide program to define core work and enhance time infield for 1000+ supervisors and superintendents across 20+ operational sites of an iconic Australian miner.
STS partnered with the program lead team from start to finish to redefine core work standards for frontline leaders and develop site deployment method. STS coaches integrated with site operational teams to lead each site deployment - establishing baselines of current state, problem solving, driving quick wins and supporting line leaders to shift routines.

National leadership standards program deployed across 6+ power generation assets located in SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. Defining and driving consistent operational leadership standards linked to bottom line metrics. Involved the delivery of leadership and communication skill training, in-field assessment and coaching of line leaders. Team effectiveness assessment and coaching was delivered to Superintendents and Managers to support the development of frontline leaders. Achieved 29% increase in frontline leadership capability.

Tier 1 Listed Miner
Root and Branch process to shift cost and production performance of several major mine assets using STS Business Delivery Model methodology across 2015-2019. Resulted in breakthrough & sustained results on production, financial & cultural metrics. Program was extended across all of business. Involved mapping of value drivers, development of systems and culture to align site organisations to realise value. In-field assessment and coaching of leaders was provided to improve operational standards. Team effectiveness assessment, standard definition, routine reset and coaching for several senior leadership teams was delivered.

Design and delivery of national frontline leadership program to define operational standards and develop capability to achieve these standards. Training, facilitation of gap analysis and development plans for participants and sustained 1:1 coaching was provided. Delivery from 2018 to 2021.

Major Design and Construct Joint Venture delivered by CPB Contractors, Samsung C&T and John Holland. STS was a key partner in high level organisational effectiveness review, recommendations and follow up support for continued high performance of project organisation. 1:1 coaching and consulting provided to key leaders to support the performance of project teams and individual leaders.

Safety Leadership Standards program to define and drive consistent high standard of safety leadership. In-field assessment and coaching of leaders from Supervisor to General Manager. Foundation leadership and communication training to drive safety results. Major shift in injury rates achieved.

Partnered with Major Mine Complex in Hunter Valley, NSW, to deliver organisational strategy, alignment and improvement support using STS Business Delivery Model. Team and individual development through coaching and organisational process advice.
